YOUNG GLORY Ad competition

8 ruthless judges. 8 briefs over 8 months. And entrants from over 60 countries. This is one tough and arduous ad competition! Winning the 2013-14 edition was special. Being the only guy from India to ever win it, made it sweeter!

Briefs on Google Glass - Nick Law (ex R/GA) SquareCash - Matt Murphy (72&Sunny) Bone Marrow Registry - Graham Douglas (Droga5, NY) Thompson Punke - Ale Lariu (ex McCann NY)

Google wanted to challenge the smartphone with it’s own smart, hands free device- the Google Glass. Nick Law (ex R/GA) wanted ideas to launch Google Glass to the public.

Square Cash was an email money transfer service launched by 72&Sunny for their client, Square. Rampant online fraud had made people lose trust in such services. Matt Murphy (ECD, 72&Sunny) wanted us to make people at least use the service once.

Graham Douglas (ex CD, Droga5) wanted us to do a follow up to his famous Cannes Lions Grand Prix winning idea - Help I Want To Save A Life, by making people signup for the national bone marrow registry.

Thompson Punke was the first of its kind ping pong streetwear brand. Ale Lariu (ex ECD. McCann NY) wanted us to think of making the brand cool and attractive, for the youth.
